Astrology is simply amazing and relevant.  Feeling stir crazy, mentally all over the place as the world around us seems to be unravelling and yet pulling together?

Thanks to Coronavirus we are being confined (Saturn) to our homes and core family units. Limited (Saturn) by the walls of our homes (North Node in Cancer).  Breathe, it's okay as this is where we are meant to be.  As society at large becomes unhinged, or at least the structures that be are shutting down around us, we are being asked to stop. We have nowhere to go but inward. Feeling triggered by your family or your situation? Good, that is supposed to happen. Nothing but our own reactions and the sun shining on our lonely faces will teach us. Never easy, but indeed necessary. Saturn has something to teach you...

As Saturn, the Lord of Karma and Work leaves Capricorn (authority and fear), we have as a society reached our apex of busy-ness, of valuing public and material successes and have begun to shift into a new era. Saturn is now in Aquarius  until March 2023 where it remains at home, and so it is able to do what it needs to do with minimal friction.  Take advantage people!

Saturn is all about the use of wisdom gained through experiences. Saturn does not reward or condone the superficial accolades, superficial friends, superficial connections - in other words all those 'likes' or fake idols that only due to their popularity and lip size have gained value. Saturn, as the Lord of Karma, will only bring frustration and hard luck when the work is not done or the lessons are not learned. Clarity is key here.

But what does it seek in Aquarius?

We are now being called to ask how we can deconstruct these structures and create an individualized self. In order to do this we need to unlearn: essentially to liberate ourself by unlearning.  Millenials, this is especially for you.

Aquarius is concerned with

  • Leading us to have freer lives - example, say good-bye to 9-5 jobs.

  • Express your ordinariness! This is actually what makes you authentic and unique. It will require a shift of perspective. What you view as ‘ordinary’ in yourself is essentially your uniqueness. This is what is most natural to you, so as my teacher, Laura Nalbandian says about the Aquarius archetype, LET YOUR FREAK FLAG FLY!

  • Quality not quantity. Examine your consumption (media, friends, food, sights, activities.) If it doesn't elevate or inspire you (Aquarius is AIR) eliminate it.

  • Be careful to not lose yourself in groups that you subscribe to based on superficial or programmed values.

  • Time to wake up and seek GROUP CONSCIOUSNESS: find your group based on your own inner values (go quiet and listen to your own truth) and be aware if it is mass consciousness. Liz Greene explains that Mass consciousness is involuntary, society will be moving from MASS to GROUP CONSCIOUSNESS.

  • Aquarius seeks AUTHENTICITY, so let's be real folks. Let go of the fake and stop idolizing the material (money, status, likes, followers, beauty, fame). TRUST ME, Saturn does not like superficiality and, as the Lord of Karma, will not reward those who do. “Balance fear and a sense of inadequacy with a need to glamourise your uniqueness” L.
